Snape is back...

...and more brilliant than ever in next week's Harry Potter: Wizards Unite! Lost Love Brilliant Event. (That's a lot of caps... lol) From Tuesday, 25 February 11am PST through 03 March 11 am PST.

I swear they are just trying to break my little shipper heart.💔 More Snapes than ever before! Portraits of Lily and Snape, and I'm betting the Portkey locations are the Potions classroom again, too, which was bloody well done. Anyone interested is welcome to join us over at hpwu.livejournal.com.

And somebody help me out: what is that... thing on his table in front of the stack of books / photo of him and Lily. I just can't tell. 😆 That said, I do love the artwork bunches. 💝

Wizards Unite! Now with more Snape!

In the words of our morethansirius, 'OMG! SNAPE!' 😆 If you've ever thought of playing Wizards Unite, people, this is the time to get started. For the next six days, there's more! Snape! than ever! running around out there, just waiting for you to run into him... (Proof, were it needed, that this is a benevolent universe. 😉)

Hey, Ginger, watcha been doing?

So I've been playing Wizards Unite diligently for the past two weeks. Unexpectedly, I learnt something about myself in the process last week. To cast spells in the game, you need energy. There are a couple of ways to come by it, the most straightforward options involve inns or sometimes greenhouses, these can be found at physical locations in the Real World, and you can hit them repeatedly at five minute intervals. Easy enough, you'd think. The game gave me something to do, and I had only a minute and a half left before I could go back to try that particular greenhouse again... Ninety seconds. (Keep in mind, this is something I wanted, *needed* for the game.) And it was an actual *struggle* to get myself to hold still for 'no reason' on some street somewhere. To just 'hang out'. Apparently, that's simply not something I do.

So now I'm learning to loiter. 😆

While I'm not sure *that's* a skill anyone needs 😉, the lesson to decelerate, to learn to feel more comfortable while out and about... Huh. Not... bad. And I totally didn't see that coming.

Highlight of my gaming week, I encountered and rescued a Snape. 😃 And I yipped with glee. In public. Got *plenty* of looks. (We *don't* do things like that here.) I don't think a game can make an extrovert out of me, but I was thoroughly unapologetic about my glee.

Screenshot, to share the joy.

I *loved* the 'Masterful'. Do they get it or what? 😉

Harry Potter: Witches* Unite!

It's like this, I don't reddit. So, uh, I looked around here and couldn't find a HPWU comm, and I thought, what the heck, I made one. The more the merrier... Figured we could use a spot to geek out. 😊 Even managed to put together a few basic tips, if you're interested. And I'd really love to hear the stuff that's working for you. (Especially as I have this gnawing suspicion that (once again!) I've chosen the wrong career... It's a skill, I tell ya... 😆 Pity I can't market it. 😉)

* Wizards and other magical beings naturally most welcome, too. 😘
